Bethlehem Mother-of-Pearl & Olive Wood Nativity Grotto

This is a contemporary devotional Nativity Set, handcrafted using traditional techniques from the Holy Land. The piece features a structure made of Olive Wood, characterized by its warm, marbled grain, which serves as the stable or "grotto."

The figures and architectural accents are meticulously carved from Mother-of-Pearl (white nacre) and set against a background of iridescent Abalone shell (darker, multi-colored nacre). The scene depicts the Holy Family—Mary, Joseph, and the Infant Jesus in a manger—accompanied by a palm tree, a shooting star (The Star of Bethlehem), and two lambs.
